RE SOURCE  UWF FACULTY ART EXHIBITION 2017
For this biennial show, instructors in the Department of Art have utilized the gallery as a pedagogical platform to exhibit research and artwork from various practices. These include drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, graphic design, digital art, video and sound installation.
In addition to the display of original art work, this year's faculty exhibition adds a unique perspective by the inclusion of each artist's source material, research, or collected items used as reference or for study. This concept allows the visitors an opportunity to engage with an extra layer of meaning that provides context and hints at each artist's working method.

The UWF Art Faculty Exhibition plays a crucial role in the cultural experience of the students, staff, faculty, and the greater community of northwest Florida. It accomplishes this goal by showcasing innovative artwork that is challenging, stimulating, and engaging.

The graphic design for this show centers around a digital collage made from a myriad of the UWF faculty's personal art work. Pieced together to represent the collective resource that each member becomes to his or her students during their experience in the art program at UWF. Faculty and staff become invaluable resources that shape, inform, cultivate, challenge, inspire and drive the work of each student artist over the course of their studies. This collage becomes the basis for the body of marketing material for the exhibition including poster, post cards, motion graphic title wall and social media.
